Aim High, Play High
Being a success in the world of sales and recruitment takes a particular kind of person. You need to be ambitious, driven and determined to reap the rewards in life. It is a fast-paced world, and amongst those who thrive you will often find some real adrenaline junkies. This might seem a strange thing to say about work, but think about the industry and what it takes to get to the top, and you will see that energy and enthusiasm rank highly, as does the thrill of moving at speed in a mega fast-paced world. Height-based sports and activities might be something you haven’t considered, but they make the perfect social activity for those who thrive on the drive.
Climbing, sliding, and jumping at height gets the blood flowing and makes you feel vibrant and alive. What better way to boost your confidence and remind yourself that you can achieve anything you want. Remember how much fun it was to throw yourself down the slide at the park as a kid? Well, this fantastic tunnel slide takes the experience to a whole new exhilarating level. At a whopping 178 metres in length this is the longest slide of its type in the world. It takes 40 seconds to descend, and you will fly past amazing artwork, be plunged into darkness and then corkscrew your way back into the light. Guaranteed to leave you buzzing and wanting to go again.
Did you know you can climb over the O2 arena? Known as urban mountaineering, this activity gets you scaling the sides of the dome and walking on the roof, setting you up to get some of the best panoramic views in London. You can go at lots of times throughout the day, but we recommend you go just as the sun is going down so you get to see the London skyline as it changes from day to night.
Dubbed the vertical chill this impressive climbing wall can be found in Covent Garden, and offers a challenging workout for new and experienced climbers alike. One to tick off the bucket list, this unique and chilly climb is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
At the O2 again, but this time jumping from a 160ft crane, this activity will definitely get the adrenaline going. Attached to a bungee cord, of course, you will love this amazing experience, and get some great views over the Thames and the London skyline thrown in for free.
